Welcome to the most celbrated hotel in television history. An establishment run by a guest-hating owner and his dragon-like wife with the hindrance of a confused spanish waiter. With resident guests as mad as hatters, visitors guaranteed to infuriate and a maid desperate to find sanity in the situation, the resulting farce produces more laughs per minute than was thought possible in a situation comedy.
The Kipper and the Corpse: With total disregard for Basil´s blood pressure, on of the guest dies in the hotel. Panic-stricken, Basil attempts to conceal the body - and the extremely fishy breakfast.....
Gourmet Night: The cream of Torquay society is present for a special gourmet night at Fawlty Towers. But with a drunk chef, where will Basil find a replacement main course?
Waldorf Salad: An American guest demands quality service - something Basil is not very familiar with. But that´s not the only thing missing from the Fawlty Tower´s menu....
Basil the Rat: Manuel insists that his pet Rodent is a Siberian Hamster. Basil is convinced it´s a rat. Definitely not the right pet when the health inspector is on the loose....
Communication Problems: Trusting an absent-minded geriatric Major with money and tangling with the intermittently deaf Mrs Richards leads Basil ever closer to a nervous breakdown.
The Anniversary: Sybil flounces off to the golf course when Basil has apparently forgotten their 15th Wedding Anniversary and just misses the guests arriving for her surprise party. Mayhem, lies and madness ensue.
The Germans: Basil tries to cope on his own whilst Sybil is in Hospital - quite unsuccessfully. As chaos ensues, a deranged Basil encounters German tourists and tells them the “Truth” about their fatherland.
The Hotel Inspectors: Basil is horrified to learn that hotel inspectors are in the area, just after he has been exceptionally rude to a guest.
A Touch of Class: There´s nothing Basil won´t do for nobility. When Lord Melbury arrives, Basil is virtually kneeling with obsequiousness and is only too pleased to cash in his Lordship´s cheques......
The Psychiatrist: Sybil is quite taken back with a young “yobbo” staying at the hotel, while a visiting psychiatrist seems to find Basil rather fascinating.
The Builders: The Lobby is need of a face-lift and, when Sybil´s back is turned, Basil immediately goes for the lowest quote for the job - with dire consequences.
The Wedding Party: Basil´s prudish nature is outraged by what he perceives to be an outbreak of promiscuity at fawlty Towers.
